Bamin reported at the opening of Exposibram that its shareholders are reviewing proposals from strategic investors for the integrated project encompassing the Pedra de Ferro mine, the FIOL railway and Porto Sul in Ilhéus (BA). A selection decision is expected by early 2026, when one proposal will be chosen to proceed to negotiations.

A large fully integrated mining and logistics project: high quality iron ore mine, deep-water port and transcontinental railway. Commercial operations at mine commenced in Jan 2021 and by the year-end BAMIN has produced more than 1 mtpa of iron ore.
