On March 02, 2026, Discovery Silver Corp. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, Glencore Canada Corporation’s 100% interest in the Kidd operations.
Discovery anticipates closing of the Transaction during the first half of 2026.
The transaction consideration comprises US$10 million payable in Discovery shares at closing, with a potential deferred payment of up to US$75 million (in cash or shares, at Discovery’s election) subject to receiving the required permits to deposit gold tailings in the Kidd TMA, together with the assumption of environmental and rehabilitation obligations and the grant to Glencore of a 1.0% NSR royalty on future production from part of the land package.
