SnapshotThe Gorontalo Minerals project is expected to become a key contributor to the mining sector growth in eastern Indonesia.

PT Gorontalo Minerals (GM) operates under a Contract of Work and has obtained approval for the Advancement to Production Operation Stage. The approval includes a 3-year construction period and a 30-year production period (valid until 2052).

During the construction of the gold processing plant in Gorontalo, GM discovered porphyry copper outcrops at Kayu Bulan and Sungai Mak, and sulfide gold outcrops at Motomboto North. These discoveries were reported to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), which instructed GM to conduct follow-up drilling while continuing construction in non-mineralized areas to preserve potential reserves. Exploration results support ongoing development and construction activities.

The completion of the gold plant, supporting facilities, and access road is expected to be completed in H2 2026.
