Summary:

Amera mine
Surface elevation varies from 536 M to 554 m. The overburden of the mine contains soil and alluvium, coarse grained, sand stone, shale etc. Gradient of seam 0.5° to 2.5° in N, 40° in W.
Seam I-Top: 1 m to 2.32 m, Seam I-Bottom: 1.35 m to 3.47 m, Seam I-Merged (Top and Bottom): 1.05 m to 8.06 m.
There are seven strike faults (F 1 to F 7) have been identified in the block.

Gayatri mine
The mine is located in the western part of Rehar block which covers mostly Jogi block of Lakhanpur coalfields. There are five seams in the area namely Seam 0 to Seam IV. At present working of this mine is being done in Seam-I combines which has been declared as Degree-I Gassy Seam. The present thickness of the seam is varying from 1.5 m to 3 m. There is frequent variation in the thickness of seam being observed on regular basis. The percolation of water from roof and floor is high which increases substantially during and after rainy season. The rock mass rating (RMR) of the roof of CMP1, CMP2, CMP3 development panel is 45.76. The gradient of seam is 1 in 20 and with direction N 45° E.

Kumda 7/8 Incline mine
