Summary:
Tabang, North Pakar, and South Pakar are collectively called the Tabang Project (Tabang / Pakar).
Tabang is the combination of 3 properties: Fajar Sakti Prima (FSP), Bara Tabang (BT), and Brian Anjat Sentosa (BAS) are located in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. The Tabang produces sub-bituminous, environmentally friendly, lowsulfur coals. The calorific content of the coal is around 4,000-4,400 Kcal/kg GAR.
North Pakar is the combination of 3 properties: Tiwa Abadi (TA), Tanur Jaya (TJ), and Dermaga Energi (DE) located in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. North Pakar is adjacent to Tabang and also has environmentally friendly sub-bituminous coal with calorific content of around 3,700-4,200 Kcal/kg GAR.
South Pakar is the combination of next properties: Silau Kencana (SK), Orkida Makmur (OM), Sumber Api (SA), Bara Sejati (BS), Apira Utama (AU) and Cahaya Alam (CA). South Pakar is south of North Pakar and also has environmentally friendly subbituminous coal with calorific content of around 3,000 Kcal/kg GAR.
The Tabang / North Pakar concessions are within thick, multi seam deposits that occur within the Miocene Age Balikpapan Formation of the Kutai Basin. The structure of the deposit area is overlying the northern and western limb of a broad synclinal structure plunging to the southeast, with dips ranges of 1 to 5 degrees.
The South Pakar concessions are within thick, multi seam deposits that occur within the Middle to Late Miocene Age Balikpapan Formation of the Kutai Basin. The structure of the deposit is the eastern limb of a broad synclinal structure plunging to the southeast. The seam dips less than 5 degree to the southwest.
