The Metalkol Roan Tailings Reclamation (RTR) Project entails the reclamation of fine-grained copper and cobalt bearing tailings from the Kingamyambo tailings dam and Musonoi/Kasobantu River valley upstream of the Kasobantu Dam and the processing of these tailings to extract copper and cobalt metal.

In 2024, Eurasian Resources Group will Explore future options for the potential development of a new cobalt beneficiation plant at Metalkol.
