June 7, 2024 Walkabout Resources Limited ("WKT") announced that it has produced and shipped the first consignment graphite concentrate.

November 12, 2024 was appointment of Administrators of Walkabout Resources and the WKT Subsidiaries. Following their appointment the Receivers immediately undertook and completed a sale and marketing campaign for the sale and / or recapitalisation of WKT and the subsidiaries, which resulted in five (5) Expressions of Interest (EOI). Of the EOIs received, only one was in a form capable of being progressed and considered by creditors at the Meetings, being a deed of company arrangement (DOCA) proposal submitted by Gemcorp Fund I Limited.

Walkabout Resources Ltd. is 100% owned Lindi Jumbo Graphite Project.

At 30 June 2024, Walkabout, through their 100% owned subsidiary Lindi Jumbo Ltd, was in the process of negotiating the Framework Agreement with the Tanzanian Government which will see a new joint venture incorporated in which Lindi Jumbo will hold an 84% interest and the Tanzanian Government the remaining 16%.

Following the appointment of voluntary administrators and receivers on 12 November 2024, the ASX suspended Walkabout Resources Ltd (WKT) securities. The suspension will persist until WKT meets ASX Listing Rules and financial requirements for reinstatement. Jeremy Nipps and Thomas Birch were appointed Joint Administrators, while Richard Tucker and Paul Pracilio of KordaMentha were appointed Joint Receivers for Walkabout Resources and its subsidiaries.

The project area is situated in the Usagaran of the Mozambique belt and consists of graphitic gneisses and schists interpreted to occur along the flanks of various anti- and synforms in the area with the lithological units dipping at between 15 and 50 degrees to the NW and SE.
