Snapshot7 June 2024, produced and shipped the first consignment of on-specification graphite concentrate from the Lindi Jumbo Graphite Mine.

The very high grade and exceptional distribution of large graphite flakes within the Lindi Jumbo Project area provides significant competitive advantage in capital and operating cost reduction and also in metallurgical performance through the potential production of a sought after, premium natural graphite flake product.

The securities of Walkabout Resources Ltd. (WKT) were suspended on 11 November 2024 at the company’s request, pending an announcement on updates to its senior debt financing facility.

Walkabout Resources Ltd (WKT) holds a 100% interest in a mining licence and between 70% and 100% of adjacent graphite prospecting licences at Lindi Jumbo, with an option to acquire the remaining 30%. As of June 30, 2024, through its subsidiary Lindi Jumbo Ltd, the company was negotiating a framework agreement with the Tanzanian government to form a joint venture, granting Lindi Jumbo an 84% stake and the government a 16% free-carried interest, in line with Tanzanian law.

Following the appointment of voluntary administrators and receivers on 12 November 2024, the ASX suspended Walkabout Resources Ltd (WKT) securities, citing non-compliance with Listing Rule 12.2 due to inadequate financial condition. The suspension will persist until WKT meets ASX Listing Rules and financial requirements for reinstatement. Jeremy Nipps and Thomas Birch were appointed Joint Administrators, while Richard Tucker and Paul Pracilio of KordaMentha were appointed Joint Receivers for Walkabout Resources and

The project area is situated in the Usagaran of the Mozambique belt and consists of graphitic gneisses and schists interpreted to occur along the flanks of various anti- and synforms in the area with the lithological units dipping at between 15 and 50 degrees to the NW and SE.
