Snapshot	In 2025, Lindi Jumbo has reached an annual graphite production capacity. The mine supplies India and aims to enter China and Germany. The mine produces several grades of graphite, including Super Jumbo, Jumbo Large, and Jumbo Fine, with each grade sorted by the size of the graphite flakes extracted. The high-grade Lindi Jumbo Graphite Project has one of the five largest graphite plants by output tonnes outside of China. Walkabout Resources Ltd has been in voluntary administration with appointed administrators and a receiver since November 2024, and was delisted from the ASX on 28 August 2025 for non-payment of listing fees. Operations continue despite the parent company’s financial difficulties, as the receiver and administrators have explicitly stated a “business-as-usual” approach for the Lindi Jumbo mine.

Summary:

The project area is situated in the Usagaran of the Mozambique belt and consists of graphitic gneisses and schists interpreted to occur along the flanks of various anti- and synforms in the area with the lithological units dipping at between 15 and 50 degrees to the NW and SE.
