Walkabout Resources Ltd (WKT) holds a 100% interest in a mining licence and between 70% and 100% of adjacent graphite prospecting licences at Lindi Jumbo, with an option to acquire the remaining 30%. As of June 30, 2024, through its subsidiary Lindi Jumbo Ltd, the company was negotiating a framework agreement with the Tanzanian government to form a joint venture, granting Lindi Jumbo an 84% stake and the government a 16% free-carried interest, in line with Tanzanian law.
Following the appointment of voluntary administrators and receivers on 12 November 2024, the ASX suspended Walkabout Resources Ltd (WKT) securities, citing non-compliance with Listing Rule 12.2 due to inadequate financial condition. The suspension will persist until WKT meets ASX Listing Rules and financial requirements for reinstatement.
