Summary:
Local Geology
The Tokkinskoe deposit is located in the interfluve of the Vrezanny and Roman streams, which are tributaries of the Tokko River, about 1 km east of the river and 6 km west of the Taborny and Temny deposits, developed by LLC Rudnik Taborny.
The deposit is hosted in complexly deformed Late Archean strata of the Khaninsky Complex (these are mainly composed of plagiogneisses with interlayers of amphibolites), and those of the Choruodakan Complex (composed of alkaline granites and granite-gneisses).
The Choruodakan Complex rocks are largely transformed into blastomylonites. Areas of cataclasis and mylonitisation are also present in the rock of the Khaninsky Complex. Late Archean formations are intruded by inclined dykes and lenses of dolerite and lamprophyre, attributed to the Torsky Complex of the Riphean age, with thicknesses ranging from a few meters to 15 to 20 m. The dykes generally strike east-northeast, with a south-southeast dip at 35 to 45°. In the eastern part of the deposit there is a notable change in the strike of the dykes to the eastsoutheast, and the dip to the south-southwest.
Mineralized Bodies Summary
Mineralized bodies at the Tokkinskoe and Roman deposits are up to 100 m in thickness, often branching, with abundant bulges and constrictions, and usually have a southeasterly (between 130 and 160°) dip of 25 to 50o. The dip angle increases to the south in accordance with the faulting style. ........
Summary:
The Tokko Project contains two near-surface low-grade gold deposits, Tokkinskoe and Roman, and is located nearby existing similar heap leach operations owned and operated by Nordgold. Both deposits contain several veins dipping to the southeast at approximately 30° to 45°. The Tokkinskoe deposit has an approximate strike length of 1200 m, while the Roman deposit strike length is approximately 2100 m.
The two deposits are situated on opposite sides of the Tokko river and will require a bridge crossing to provide access. The deposits will be mined independently of each other using conventional truck/shovel operations and each deposit will have its own dedicated heap leach pad (HLP) for resource processing. The Tokkinskoe deposit is planned to produce resources at a rate of 5.0 Mtpa, while the Roman deposit will produce resources at a rate of 9.0 Mtpa. Stripping ratios are 2.3:1 for the Tokkinskoe deposit and 1.8:1 for the Roman deposit. Peak combined total mining production reaches 120 ktpd which is similar to the nearby operations.
Geotechnical Characterization
Geotechnical field investigations have been conducted by Ingeoproekt, LLC for Tokkinskoe in 2019 and Roman in 2020. A total of four inclined geotechnical core holes were drilled and logged at Tokkinskoe with five holes at Roman. Core was oriented for all nine holes to obtain orientations of natural fractures within the rock mass. The Roman geotechnical investigation is still i ........
