The Jilau deposit is a shear zone-hosted gold-quartz vein deposit. The stockwork is located in the granitoids that make up the core of the brachiofold, in which gold is primarily present in the form of microscopic gold particles in quartz in a free state. Gold-quartz ores contain no more than 1.8% sulphides.The ore of the Taror deposit is recognized as a complex and refractory polymetallic ore, where numerous types of oxidized and sulfurous ores coexist in vast varieties. The ores are represented by pyroxene skarns and quartz-carbonate rocks. The main ore minerals are arsenopyrite, pyrite, marcasite, and chalcopyrite. Secondary minerals include bismuthinite and dull ore. The ores are stubborn, difficult to enrich, and complex. The primary valuable metals are gold, silver, and copper; by-products include bismuth, selenium, and tellurium; and the harmful impurity is arsenic.
