The Heemskirk Tin deposits are granite related cassiterite and base metal stockwork and replacement style mineralisation hosted in older sediments and volcaniclastics of the Zeehan Sub Basin, Western Tasmania. Mineralisation is generally stratabound.Numerous Pb-Zn-Ag fissure lodes are associated with the periphery of the mineralizing system. Mineralisation is essentially stratabound controlled by northeast plunging fold structures associated with northwest trending faults. Tin is believed to be sourced from a granite intrusion located over 1km from surface below the deposit.Mineralisation in all the Heemskirk Tin Deposits remains open down dip and down plunge, with Stellar currently drilling at Heemskirk to extend mineralisation and further improve the geological model.Dimensions• Severn deposit is a north trending moderate to steeply east dipping and north plunging stratabound deposit. Comprised of 3 main lenses of mineralisation in a broader sulphide halo. Strike extending north over 500m, width 3-50m and down dip extent over 700m. There are some mineralized intersections below the 3 main zones which have not been included in the MRE as they have only been intersected in a few holes. • Queen Hill is a north trending moderate to steeply east dipping and north plunging stratabound deposit. Comprised of multiple mineralised structures in a broader sulphide halo. Strike extending north over 450m, width 2-30m and down plunge extent over 500m. Fracture and stratabound basemetal veining increasing towards the top of the deposit.
