SnapshotThe Kookaburra Graphite Project is a high-potential graphite deposit comprising three individual areas: Kookaburra Gully, Koppio, and Kookaburra Gully SW Extension. The project aims to produce flake graphite concentrate for export through a two-stage development plan.

Stage 1 will process 75,000 tpa, producing 10,000 tpa of graphite concentrate over two years, contingent on market conditions and mining lease approval. Stage 2 will expand capacity to 500,000 tpa, yielding 60,000 tpa of concentrate from year three onward.

The PFS reinforces Lincoln’s strong market position, outlining a long-life, low-cost graphite project with low start-up capital and opportunities to extend the 16-year mine life.

Key advantages include a fast-tracked approval process, supported by an existing Mining Lease and advanced secondary approvals, along with cost-efficient infrastructure, with power, water, and road access in close proximity.

Summary:

The Kookaburra Graphite Project encompasses three key areas: Kookaburra Gully (KG), Koppio, and Kookaburra Gully SW Extension (KGE). These deposits are situated within the graphitic schists of the Paleoproterozoic Hutchison Group, which were originally formed from marine sediments and silty clay, with carbonate and banded iron formation.

The graphite mineralization is stratigraphically controlled, originating from marine algal and bacterial remains that transformed into graphite through high-grade metamorphism.

Geologically, the deposits strike NE to SW, with KG and Koppio dipping eastward at angles between 50° and 80°, while KGE is relatively flat-lying.
