The Brush Valley is an underground mine which develop Lower Kittanning coal seam and have access via two slope entries.
Mine utilizes two continuous miner sections to extract coal using the room and pillar method.
Approved seals are utilized to seal off (isolate) worked out areas from the active mine workings.
