SnapshotThe Guyan Mine is a surface pit gold mine located northwest of the Al Masane Mine and Processing Plant, producing gold doré bars for overseas refineries. The mine extracts gold from the Jabal Guyan South and North deposits.

To extend the mine’s life, AMAK began constructing the Guyan underground mine in late 2024, below the current open-pit operations, with underground mining set to start in Q2 2025. The company also plans to develop satellite pits, like Sukkari, to supply the Guyan Gold Plant.

AMAK is actively exploring new gold resources within the Guyan exploration tenements and other prospective leases to extend the life of its gold operations.

Summary:

The Jabal Guyan deposits at the Guyan Mine comprises two sectors: the North and South veins. Each vein is a gold bearing quartz mineralization which extends in a north west to south east direction. The length of the north vein mineralization is approximately 1430 metres and the length of the south vein mineralization is approximately 900 metres.
