SnapshotThe Perkasa Inakakerta (PIK) Mine consists of a Coal Contract of Work (CCOW) located in the Kutai Timur Regency, East Kalimantan.

PIK produces sub-bituminous quality coal with calorific value of 4,600-4,700 Kcal/kg GAR.

In order to support coal deliveries, PIK utilizes a special port located at Sekerat Beach, which is able to load directly to Handymax or Panamax vessels.

During the 2023 year, PIK signed a letter of award with PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM) to expand the mining at PIK going forward. In this regard, subject to the relevant permit revisions, PIK expect to be increasing production to more than 3 mtpa in coming years.

Summary:

The Perkasa Inakakerta (PIK) concessions are within multi-seam deposits that occur within the Miocene Age Balikpapan Formation of the Kutai Basin. The deposit comprises 3 blocks; Sepaso, Beruang and Narut. Only Sepaso Block is reported in the Statement. The structure of the deposit area is a monocline with dips ranges of 25 to 40 degrees to SE.

The deposit covers area approx. 19,050 ha, with an approximate strike length of 8 km and approximate width 4.4 km in Sepaso Block.
