Chaarat Zaav Closed Joint Stock Company (CZ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chaarat Gold Holdings Limited (Chaarat), holds two licences for gold on a property located in the Kyrgyz Republic.

- Mesothermal
Summary:
Kyzyltash mineralisation is classified as orogenic gold deposit. The Kyzyltash mineralisation formed in a much deeper environment and is classified as mesothermal orogenic gold deposits.
The Kyzyltash zone is a series of sulphide-bearing ore bodies made up of the Main zone and Contact zone mineralisation and locates to the East and northeast of the Tulkubash Zone. The mineralised zones occur within two subparallel northeast-trending structural zones that have been traced for 10 km along strike. The ore consists of goldarsenopyrite-stibnite-tetrahedrite mineralisation occurring in sheared and altered wall rock.
The ore exhibits strong sericitic alteration, with lesser amounts of quartz, quartz vein stockwork, ankerite, and calcite gangue. In some areas, antimony and silver are significant constituents of mineralisation, the latter particularly in the Contact zone and in the M7000 ore body (about 21 g/t silver average). Antimony, in stibnite and various sulfosalts, can locally reach values of 10% or more over 1 m to 2 m thick zones. Trace amounts of copper and molybdenum are also present in some of the ore.
Favorable geology extends over extra 12 km strike length to northeast with more mineralization inferred based on interpretation of structural, geochemical and geophysical data.
Summary:
The large, higher grade Kyzyltash sulphide ore body will form the second phase of development at the Chaarat project.
Kyzyltash will be an underground mine, with an adit driven into high grade mineralisation in the heart of the deposit. Based on early-stage engineering designs, Kyzyltash has the potential to produce 200,000-300,000 ounces of gold per annum with low operating cash costs.
Thick lenses suitable for bulk mining.

Summary:
Work is underway to define the optimal processing route with proven technology for such deposits.
In 2016, a Feasibility Study was completed by NERIN on the combined property demonstrating the economic potential. The study and underlying assumptions will need to be verified in accordance with international best practice in the years to come.
Study was based on underground mining of sulphides and a BIOX process.
