SnapshotThe Goro nickel-cobalt mine is a fully-integrated mining operation involving an open-pit mine, a processing plant and a port facility.

Following the takeover, the Goro facility was successfully restarted with a focus on producing tonnes mixed hydroxide precipitate (MHP), a chemical form of nickel and cobalt that can be used in the batteries that power electric vehicles (EVs).

Production numbers have not been publicly available since 2020.

Finally, La Compagnie financière de Prony, which brings together industrial investors, clients and the management of Prony Resources, has the remaining 30% of shares.
